Announcing Saleor 3.22
Saleor 3.22 has arrived with new modeling features, filtering and extending improvements, designed to make building modern commerce experiences even easier.
As the wind began to fade, the waves calmed. Out of the mist emerged a ship, gliding swiftly across the water. Its sails caught the last breath of the breeze, steady and proud. On the mast, a flag fluttered in the light - its crimson letters clear against the sky: 3.22. Ahead, the island waited.
It’s here and it’s not taking prisoners! We’re excited (and proud) to bring you Saleor 3.22 - a release packed with new features. There’s so much on board this time that we decided to split things into separate articles:
What's New in Saleor 3.22
New Modeling Features
The highlight of this release is a collection of modeling-related updates: new attribute reference points (category & collection), a new singular reference option, and the ability to narrow reference types (think “only models of this type”).
Structured Refund Reasons
Refunds don’t have to be mysterious anymore - you can now define your own refund reasons directly through modeling.
New Dashboard Mounting Points & Targets
3.22 expands the ways you can extend Saleor Dashboard with additional mounting points and new target types: NEW_TAB and WIDGET.

New Order Filters
We’ve added a wide range of new filters: payment filters (authorizeStatus, chargeStatus), order content filters (hasInvoices, hasFulfillments), customer filters (userEmail, billingPhoneNumber), and more.

Those are the big ones we’ve given their own deep dives, but there’s more treasure in the chest. Here are a few extra highlights:
- Added a “feature ripple” to Saleor Dashboard: a little hint to inform you about important changes and new features.
- Improved order management: editable order notes, selecting a related transaction in refund & return, streamlined fulfillment cancelation flow.
- Product filtering: you can now filter products by reference attributes (
REFERENCE/SINGLE_REFERENCE).
